Our Goal

According to an article from NRK, publishers in Norway receive 6,000 scripts from hopeful aspiring writers each year, and only 1-5 percent of these are accepted.

That is why we have launched Fuugo.no print-on-demand publishing. With Fuugo.no, we want to give back control to authors over their work, and at the same time empower those who dream of publishing their own books. It is every writer’s nightmare to receive a rejection letter from a publisher. And our goal is to give authors other alternatives and, at the same time, the opportunity to earn more for their work.

It is a great tragedy when a good story never gets to see the light of the day. So, it is my sincere hope therefore, that the nearly 6000 manuscripts that get rejected every year do not end up in the garbage or hidden away in the hard drive of some computers.
